Southern Kitchen Services Standards
- ALL Interior Ductwork, Airflow portions of fans and hood areas to be left completely free of grease and carbon. (All ductwork cleaned down to metal) unless otherwise noted. (Exhaust side only) Hood filters can be cleaned for an additional charge.
- Working areas around and by exhaust vent systems will be protected and left clean (in condition found at start of job) after the job is complete. This includes areas around/under ducts, fans, roofs, hoods, floors in working areas, ceilings under ducts, etc.
- Stainless hoods are to be polished inside and out unless otherwise requested.
- The kitchen equipment power and gas is to be reconnected with pilot lights relit where applicable.
- The exhaust system is to be restarted at the end of each job and any obvious problems with the wiring or fan condition noted on the work order.
- A certification sticker showing job completion date and next recommended service Cleaning month and year shall be applied (one per system) to the hoods of the systems cleaned at the end of the job.
- Digital pictures of completed work are to be taken for the customer and customer file for each cleaning per SKS (Southern Kitchen Services) picture guide. Pictures will be taken upon each job completion. Pictures should be taken of any problems. Pictures are to be reviewed by experienced Certified SKS Inspectors or Supervisors to verify job is correctly cleaned with proper pictures.
- All technicians of SKS are to be covered by Workman’s Compensation Insurance, liability Insurance of 2 million and shall be bonded.
- All SKS workers at the job site shall be fully trained and bonded employees of SKS. No subcontractors are to be used by SKS.
- All SKS work is guaranteed to meet or exceed standards and pass local fire and health inspection and follow NFPA96 guidelines upon completion.
